HR Specialist

Location: Malta
Position Type: Full-Time

The HR Specialist plays a key role in supporting and developing Firetech’s people operations, ensuring an engaging, compliant, and growth-oriented workplace. This role covers the full HR spectrum, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, training, performance, and offboarding, providing hands-on support to managers and team members across all departments.

​

As Firetech continues to grow, the HR Specialist will contribute to strengthening company culture, enhancing HR processes, and supporting initiatives that help every employee do their best work.

​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.

  • Maintain employee records, HR databases, and HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Support performance management processes, probation reviews, and training plans.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and internal communications.

  • Manage employee queries, ensuring timely and professional support across all HR-related matters.

  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and internal events that strengthen workplace culture.

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, health and safety requirements, and internal standards.

  • Prepare HR reports and assist with payroll or benefits administration when required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A recognised certification in Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related field.

  • At least one year of experience in an HR generalist, administrative, or coordinator role.

  • Solid understanding of HR operations, recruitment practices, and employment legislation.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude.

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
