ASSISTANT
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Stores & Logistics Assistant to manage day-to-day store operations, maintain accurate inventory records, and support the procurement team. This role is essential to ensuring efficient stock control, timely receipting of goods, and smooth logistical coordination across departments.

The ideal candidate will be confident using IT systems, have a keen eye for detail, and be capable of raising procurement requests in line with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor stock levels and ensure items are stored securely and accessibly.

Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Raise purchase requests and requisitions through the procurement system.

Liaise with the procurement team to follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely delivery.

Identify low stock or critical items and proactively flag procurement needs.

Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality.

Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.

Report damaged or incorrect deliveries and coordinate returns or replacements.

Input and update inventory records in the company’s IT or stock control system.

Maintain accurate documentation for all stock movements, receipts, and issues.

Generate and submit reports as required (e.g., usage trends, stock status).

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year experience in stores, warehousing, or logistics.

Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) or ERP software.
-
Ability to operate basic warehousing equipment.

A valid driver’s licence.
