PROCUREMENT &
STORES COORDINATOR

The Procurement and Stores Coordinator is responsible for supporting procurement and stores activities across Firetech, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, efficient inventory management, and timely distribution of goods. This role involves managing supplier relationships, processing procurement requests, coordinating storage, and maintaining accurate records to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support procurement processes, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders in line with company policies.

  • Maintain and manage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, proper storage, and timely replenishment of materials.

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to various departments, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

  • Assist in supplier management, including maintaining relationships, monitoring performance, and addressing any supply issues.

  • Process procurement requests, maintain purchase records, and provide regular reporting to management.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support operational needs and improve procurement and inventory processes.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience in procurement, logistics, or stores coordination is advantageous, but training will be provided.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing orders, inventory, and documentation.

  • Good market knowledge and understanding of procurement processes and best practices.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Professional, dependable, and a proactive team player.

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for procurement, inventory, and reporting is a plus.
